As Office Manager, Paul is the first point of contact with the jupiter team.
Paul is completing accredited counsellor training with the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC) and is currently a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Professional Counselling Association NSW (PCA).
His counselling skills and training assist youth that struggle with challenges of addictive behaviours (alcohol and other drugs, gaming etc) with his strengths being Motivational Interviewing Techniques and CBT.
Paul is also working with PSCDAT (Port Stephens, Community Drug Action Team), the TNC (Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre), Community Transport Port Stephens as a volunteer driver, the PSSPN (Port Stephens, Suicide Prevention Network), DARA’s Food Van (St Vincent de Paul, Special works committee member) as well as other groups.
Jen is one of Jupiter’s contracted psychologists. She has 20 years’ experience and has been running her own private practice in Medowie since 2013.
Jen is dedicated to supporting people to find their best self and helping people to heal, grow and thrive through challenges and traumas. Jen has a particular interest in post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, childhood trauma, sexual assault and domestic violence), cancer (throughout diagnosis & treatment trajectory), incurable illness, palliative care, grief, loss & bereavement. Jen also provides general psychological services for depression, anxiety and crisis intervention.
She decided to become one of our psychologists because Jen believes in Jupiter’s mission of providing free, easily accessed, personalised counselling and mental health support services to young people in Port Stephens.
Outside of work, Jen loves music, painting, reading and Netflix. Her biggest passion is spending time with her son, family and friends.
Rhiannon has extensive experience working in the Out-Of-Home-Care (OOHC) sector with a wide range of issues related to mental health such as depression, anxiety and trauma. She’s passionate about helping children and teenagers navigate through life challenges, teaching them coping mechanisms to improve their wellbeing.
Outside of work, Rhiannon loves going to the beach and spend time outdoors enjoying a good coffee and breakfast food.
Rhiannon is also a Port Stephens local and enjoys being a part of her community.
Jennifer is an adolescent & family counsellor with over 23 years’ experience and specialises in mental health and trauma-related issues. During this time, Jennifer spent 2 years in private practice, was a senior tutor for Charles Sturt University and taught Counselling in the Youth Work Diploma and Community Services certificate IV.
Jennifer also worked with the Attorney General’s Justice Department in the Crime Prevention Division as a Forum Facilitator & Mentor.
Jenni is a Port Stephens resident.
